there's a hole-in-the-wall near max's in scout area serving the best vigan empanada i've ever tasted...laging mahaba ang pila....i heard they transferred but i have yet to discover where...this one is not as good but masarap pa din :) apparently bought in tomas morato. yum, yum...

Vigan -E!!!This is the ultimate meal when you go North!! The "bestest" of the best is in the streets of Vigan...The Manang tinderas place the smoky hot Vigan-E in a plastic plate covered with a cellophane (di naman ako health conscious).Dunk the thing in sukang iloko with lots of lasona, sili and garlic. It's a blast!!! Then wash all the flavors by "Cuks" (Coke) or "Pitsi" (Pepsi). Hay, the best Manang! Update us where the shop is, kasi I know only 1 stall na selling Vigan -E. It's in Tiendesitas. Same thing, box-office ang pila!!!
