justices and their almae matres

With the new appointment today of Justice Bienvenido Reyes, there are now 2 Justices who obtained their law degree from San Beda, the other 1 being Justice Jose C. Mendoza.  #hmmmm.

There are 5 Justices from UP #number1parindawmaskihindinasabar, namely Justice Antonio Carpio, Justice Presbitero Velasco, Justice Teresita De Castro, Justice Jose Perez and Justice Meilou Sereno (#nicknamebasis?goshangconfidencelevel).

There are 4 from Ateneo.  The Chief Justice Renato Corona is from Ateneo.  Other Ateneans are Justice Arturo Brion, Mariano Del Castillo and Justice Roberto Abad.  #uuyhumahabol
There is 1 Justice from UST, UE, MLQU each, namely Justice Diosdado Peralta, Justice Lucas Bersamin and Justice Martin Villarama Jr., respectively.

...with J. Reyes being a fraternity brother of J. Mendoza.  Lex Talionis, which means "the law of retaliation."  if Sandiganbayan J. Gregory Ong's appointment was not recalled by GMA a couple of years ago {allegedly due to citizenship issues}, there should have been 3 Talions in the Supreme Court... well, nothing new...apparently J. Carpio and J. Velasco are both Sigma Rhoans, while the Chief Justice, J. Brion and J. Abad are Utopians...left waiting for another brod to join them are J. Perez of Alpha Phi Beta, J. del Castillo of Aquila Legis, J. Peralta of Gamma Delta Upsilon and J. Bersamin of Scintilla Juris, {or maybe another sis for J. Sereno of  Portia, and J. de Castro of Alpha Sigma}...this leaves J. Villarama as the sole member of the current Supreme Court without a fraternity {or a "barbarian" in fraternity lingo}

...the supreme court....tsk....tsk....will stop now, for fear of being held in contempt...even if....cause i remember the saying -- the supreme court is supreme even in error....buti na lang may saving grace -- cute ang spokesperson {and court administrator} J. Midas Marquez...hehe...{who holds a rank equivalent to "justice" so technically he shouldn't be called "attorney" like i always hear in the news...by protocol,  he should be addressed as "justice" or "honorable"}

...the supreme court and the shadow of doubt....

...sana, your honors, if i may... mga kagalang-galang na miyembro ng kataas-taasang hukuman, tahakin di lang ang daang patas kundi pati ang matuwid... dba, sabi ni Pinoy yan...daang matuwid at bawal ang wangwang!

...may God bless the Philippine Supreme Court and the entire population of litigants in this Republic.

OMG! You are such an insider, Z.  I wonder why????  Wahahaha.

Also, which reminds me, I need to finish that book you mentioned.  I was halfway through (I think sometime in summer of 2010), but I never thought of finishing it.
