AMDG

ad majorem dei gloriam (AMDG), latin for :  for the greater glory of God, the origin of which is attributed to the founder of the Jesuits, Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

ateneo law school, 75 years
 ad majorem dei gloriam

the ateneo, being one of the universities run by the Jesuits in the Philippines.

with the ateneo and it's latin motto currently in circulation via the 100 peso bill, hopefully, this will remind every alumni, more especially the ateneo law school kind, to act (and to serve) ADMG. . . for the greater glory of God poh!  problem is, yung mga dapat i-remind, di yata gumagamit ng 100 peso bill. . . si FG kaya and "fatty-er son" tumataban  humahawak pa ng P100?! come to think of it, the entire former first family (uy, FFF!), mga "corn-bred" pala - - all of them studied and took up degrees at the ateneo (although 1 failed to complete his jd), which campus used to be popular for sweet japanese corn.  so, mga dugong bughaw na medyo ibang color na ang budhi, if AMDG is too hard to remember, yung kay pnoy na lang poh (na dugong bughaw din) ang sundin : matuwid na daan, bawal ang wangwang!

thanks to  metrobank's atm machine that dispensed these bills today, nagka-blog topic ako bigla!

tumataban means humahawak, Y thought i mis-spelled or something.  when i explained what it means, she googled and emailed to prove me wrong.  just wait and i will find the authority for this. . . hehe!
