44 Book 4
I am sorry Jools, but I liked Book 3 and the previous books much more. Maybe this is because I was expecting for something significant or life changing will happen to Abby, or that there would be a revelation of sorts. In the end, there were unsettled issues between Abby and her boyfriend Ty, which makes us look forward to the next book, at least for this aspect.
I will still look forward to the next book. I hope it will be worth the wait.

I tried to make the cover even scarier by instagramming it... Hihi.
Happy mother's day to all!

44 Book 4
And she has released the cover!
Is it Dr. Nathaniel Mortimer? Hmmmmm... I had a feeling he'll figure a lot in Book 4 because at the last scene, his presence was felt via that strange classical music heard in the car... And that was also the time when I was at the verge of crying when Abby was leading Jesse to see his Dad....
Oh now, I can't wait. I have a strong feeling Jools will not disappoint.

44 Book 4
It makes me wonder if she is releasing her books in audio format soon. I am now a sucker for audiobooks!

I love Jools!
Er, definitely not Jules Ledesma, but Jools Sinclair.
I finished reading Book 3 of the 44 series last Friday morning.
Jools Sinclair is now working on Book 4, which is scheduled to be released by Spring 2012. Yipee, I cannot wait...
I am so excited to see how the story will further unfold for Kate, Dr. Mortimer, Nathaniel, Simon, Jesse, Jesse's dad, Ty, Jack, Phil, Claire and the main character Abby...
And, can I just share that I am feeling really giddy about this.... :-). When Jools Sinclair posted that Book 3 release is just a few hours away, I just had to comment!
Aaaaawwww. For that, I am really loving Jools.

Fourty-Four
Thank you X for your post on Jools Sinclair's book 44. I told you when we met over lunch last Friday that I was excited to read it too. And so I did, and I love it!
I was so weird because I cried a little towards the end. It took awhile for Abby's realization to sink in... Hehe... And then I had to go back to some the scenes and checked the details, just like I did when I watched... Oops, sorry, I will not continue. I do not want to be a spoiler...
I also discovered Jool's Sinclair's blogspot. I think she also resides in Bend which is a city in Deschutes County, Oregon. ( I love it when the setting of a fictional story is an actual place.) She even posted this photo on her blog, and I imagine Abby and Jesse would be walking there somewhere...
The author has released Book 2, and she is about to release Book 3 on Valentine's Day. Imagine that!

EBook 3: 44 (Forty Four)
I started reading this book last Monday evening and I can't stop myself afterwards.
Again, IT'S FREE.
The title is "44 (Forty Four)" by Jools Sinclair

The story is so simple.
The main character, Abby Craig is a teenager who had been dead for 44 minutes after drowning in an icy lake. She was resuscitated and brought back to life by Dr. Mortimer when she was rushed to the hospital. Since her "re-birth", things were not the same. Her memories of what really happened on the day she drowned became vague, her world literally became black, white and gray and she cannot see colors. She had nightmares that were seem real-which in effect made her a witness to gruesome killings. People who helped Abby recover were her sister Kate, her best friend Jesse and Dr. Mortimer. Abby was referred to a shrink (Dr. Krowe) because her mind just shuts off when in comes to recalling how she drowned. Dr. Krowe helped her and the discovery of what's happening to her, Jesse, the nightmares and how she returned to life all unfolded when she was brought back to the icy lake.
It's a nice story that can be made into a movie. It's like "Sixth Sense" and will be a blockbuster if shown on Halloween.
I would love to see Dakota Fanning or Kristen Stewart for the lead role. Dakota with her big and expressive eyes or Kristen with her "disturbed and pale" look.
For Kate, I'd like Naomi Watts if Abby would be Dakota or Kate Beckinsale if it's Kristen.
