It's called "Ningnangan". Actually, it is my third time to eat in that place. The first time was when BH was still my "ex" and the second time was in 2001 when BH gave a "sending-off" dinner treat to his kid sister. DS was still a a baby then.
It was like a "dampa-paluto" style, where you pick raw or half-cooked goodies for grilling. The only difference is, in a "paluto" set-up, your orders will be cooked for you for a fee. In Ningnangan, you get to grill your own food your way or you may ask their people to grill it for you. In a humid summer night, we opted for the latter. By the way, the place is only open from 6pm to 10pm.

Everything in the counter is so affordable.I picked up 1 hotdog (for dear DS), 2 sticks of barbecue, 1 big squid, pork sisig, 1 liempo and 1 big tilapia (they call it pla-pla), plus 3 cups of rice, 2 bottled iced tea and 1 bottled water. Total bill is Php 614.00. And servings are really BIG.
The place is a "hit" for both "cabalens" and curious people like me.
"Ningnangan" is along Mac Arthur Highway. Coming from NLEX, you may exit in Apalit.
"Mangan tamu" (Let's eat).
